Arrived in a huge brown shipper box..which may have been the original shipper from China(?) It says Made in China on the brown shipper box.
IT is heavy and huge. You do get your money's worth for the price .
Perhaps the best doll wardrobe trunk I've ever seen! most detailed one that is for sure! The quality of the brocade inside the trunk is very good.
The brocade fabric the outside trunk is wrapped with, I feel.. should have been a little thicker--because the outside gets the most wear and tear.
The key is in the shipping. Personally, I prefer Fed Ex. UPS packages sometimes arrives.. well.. sort of beat up. If I had the choice of picking this up in person vs shipping...I would opt to pick it up personally.
Ellowyne Nameplate on trunk:
The ..border..around her namplate scroll is more metallic grey..I don't know why it appears blueish in this pic
When I opened the box, the styrofoam padding on one corner had broken into half... and also two styrofoam padding from two corners under the trunk

The first,second and fifth shelves seems to have warped? a little

A bit of brocade trunk cover seems to be frayed just a hair--although it is Brand spanking NEW...
Top right corner ....surely from shipping...
Did I mention that it is quite HEFTY?.. Perhaps I am weak..but I had to stop and rest in between where I took pictures of it by the hallway on my return to my office ! I love Ellowyne's Designer Wardrobe Trunk!
It is the prettiest thing ..so much like Ellowyne's style....despite the imperfections here and there most possibly from the rough and tumble shipping (!)
